Texas Biomed is proud to be a part of the Southwest Research Consortium, in partnership with the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA), the Southwest Research Institute (SwRI), the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), and Trinity University.
Texas Biomed’s newest research partner, the San Antonio Vaccine Development Center (SAVE), was formed in 2011. SAVE coordinates vaccine development activities across San Antonio and serves as the regional center for international collaborations.
SAVE recently released a request for proposals limited to researchers associated with UTHSCSA, UTSA, SwRI, and Texas Biomed.
The organization will provide a total of $200,000 to support funding for four pilot projects lasting a year (maximum $50,000 each). Applications are welcome from full-time Texas Biomed employees.
