Researchers say preventing heart disease begins in children

Medical reporter Wendy Rigby reports on findings by Dr. Henry McGill and national collaborators that a risk scores assessment they've developed through the PDAY Study effectively predicts future calcification in the arteries 15 years in advance. They site this as further evidence that the prevention of heart disease needs to start early in life -- as early as childhood.
