The San Antonio Business Journal has named Dr. Larry Schlesinger, President & CEO of Texas Biomedical Research Institute, as a 2018 Health Care Heroes. These annual awards recognize outstanding achievements by people in the industry.
Dr. Schlesinger won recognition in the Outstanding Medical Researcher category. He is an internationally recognized authority in infectious diseases. Not only is he leading Texas Biomed through a time of transformational change, he leads of a team of TB researchers.
Dr. Schlesinger is a prolific scholar and a dedicated mentor, having trained more than 150 people in laboratory.
