  • Testing Information

    Some clerical positions at the Institute require testing. Your application will be reviewed, and you will be scheduled for testing, if applicable. Testing is conducted for certain specified positions only and is not intended as a measure of intelligence, but as a prediction of ability to perform a function of a job. Passing a required test is not a guarantee of an interview. The testing is a part of the screening process.

  • Degree and Credential Requirements

    Some of our positions may require a Bachelor’s degree, or above, as a job requirement. If applicable (please see job posting notice), you will be asked to supply an expendable copy of your college transcript(s). If required, please submit a transcript that shows the seal of the school and the registrar’s signature.

    Applicants for non-doctoral positions whose highest level of education (i.e., high school diploma, college degree, etc.) is from a non-U.S. educational institution must provide educational equivalency determination documents. Credentialing companies that individuals have used in the past are: Foreign Credentials Service of America, Austin, Texas (http://foreigncredentials.org); The Knowledge Company, Herndon, Virginia (knowledgecompany.com); and CEI Education Specialists, Houston, Texas.   • Driver’s License Requirements

    Some positions may require an employee to drive a motor vehicle on Texas Biomed business. You must have a VALID driver’s license and meet Texas Biomed driving standards and indicate your driver’s license number on your application.

  • Background Check Information

    Should you be chosen as a final candidate, you will be required to complete and sign an Authorization for Release of Information pursuant to a background check. The background check will be conducted by an agent of Texas Biomed prior to making the job offer to the successful candidate. A background check encompasses an applicant’s criminal record, education, employment history, driving performance, involvement in animal rights activities, or other relevant data.
