Fall Feast for the Baboons

On Friday, Nov. 2, 2018, the baboons that live in a six-acre corral at the Southwest National Primate Research Center on the Texas Biomed campus got a special treat.

Animal Caretaker Ashley Price secured leftover pumpkins from the Halloween Pumpkin Patch at Oxford United Methodist Church in San Antonio.

As part of a special enrichment for the nonhuman primates, the monkeys spent much of the afternoon enjoying their seasonal treats.
