Research Focus

Adjunct Professor Diana Scorpio, DVM, MPH, DACLAM, has more than 20 years of experience in laboratory animal care and medicine for variety of species including nonhuman primates, other large animals and rodents. Dr. Scorpio served as Associate Director, Veterinary Resources and Attending Veterinarian at the Southwest National Primate Research Center from 2020 through 2022, overseeing all aspect of animal health, wellbeing, care and research. She is involved with research into animal models for infectious disease, vaccine development and therapeutics. She is currently the USA Site Director for BC US LLC.
