On January 17, 2018, Texas Biomedical Research Institute President/CEO Dr. Larry Schlesinger served on a panel of experts for a live call-in talk show called The Source on Texas Public Radio, 89.1 FM. David Martin Davies was the host of the hour-long broadcast about tuberculosis. The local National Public Radio affiliate also included a representative of Metro Health, The Texas Center for Infectious Disease and a tuberculosis survivor.
